What you need to know!

Please ensure to take a look though my galleries and social media pages to get a feel for the style of my cakes. I specialise in modern artistic cakes and sugar flowers. I also make Buttercream/ Naked Style cakes, please be aware that I do not recommend this style in very hot weather months. 

Consultations are by appointment only and are held in my home in Emyvale, Co. Monaghan preferrably, or it may be more suitable to meet at a local venue. We will be able to discuss and meld your vision into a cake that enhances and compliments your special day. It is advised to think about bringing along some things like your invites, colour swatches or anything you may want incorporated into your design that can visually aid the design process. You will have the option to take home some delicious cake samples which will include 5 of our most popular cake flavours, this incurs an extra €25 fee.

Please note that consultations are limited to two people attending.

If you would like to book us to make your wedding cake a booking fee of €100 is required to secure your date. This is non refundable and non transferable and does not affect your statutory rights. The balance of your order including any security bonds are required in full 6 weeks before your wedding date.

Prices for our cakes will depend on many factors including size, design, complexity and sugar flowers. It is necessary to first go through all details and specification you need before I can give a set quote. Although it may seem simple to send though a picture and expect a quote- I do wish it truly was that simple! There are factors that need to be decided like how many guests you want to serve, what flavour cake each tier will be, is the design of the cake time consuming to complete and so on..... The following prices are for guiding purposes only to give an idea for you:-

Tiered Cakes

2 Tier (serves 40)- from €290

2 Tier (serves 60)- from €360

3 Tier (serves 80)- from €450

3 Tier (serves 130)- from €600

4 Tier (serves 90)- from €500

4 Tier (serves 140) from €650

I can supply you with many alternative ideas that may not reach the traditional concept of the everyday tiered wedding cake

I also make meringues, profiteroles and eclairs- these are priced on request and meet a minimum order (30).

I deliver and set up your cake on the morning of your wedding day and I will liaise with your venue prior to your wedding day. I deliver to venues across the country including Northern Ireland. Delivery is in addition to your cake quote and will variate depending on the length of the journey. Set up at your venue is complimentary.

Please note that I do not cater for collection of wedding cakes. I assemble tiered wedding cakes at your venue and in some circumstances some decorational elements can only be applied once the cake is assembled. Safe delivery of all cakes comes with many years of experience.

I have many cake stands and dessert plates that may suit the design of your cake and I may advise you of my inventory at the time of consultation. Cake Stand hire is €40 and will be required to be returned the day after your wedding. I also charge a security bond for cake stand hire €70 in case of any loss or damage. The security bond will be returned once you have returned the stand.

I only hire cake stands to my clients who order a wedding cake.

I am very proud to be a vendor for The Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan. I have worked many years for their couples who have opted for their glorious wedding packages. The package is limited to a set amount of €450. At our consultation I may advise how we can incorporate your ideas to not exceed this amount, if you opt for a cake that exceeds this amount you have the ability to pay any extra costs outside the package limit to me directly and should be paid no later than 6 weeks before your date. You also have the freedom to choose from any of my display cakes as a rental piece, complimented with cutting cakes for the kitchen so that you have cake to serve your guests, 3 cutting cakes of any flavour is included in this option.
